Medical product design is simply product designing from a medical standpoint. Not only is it vital for designers to have the standard product design knowledge, they must also have some medical knowledge as well. Again, if the bugs aren’t all worked out and the product comes out with flaws, it may be recalled. Not only recalled but if someone is injured from the product there may be lawsuits brought against the company. To avoid these downfalls, make sure that the medical product designers are aware of the unique medical related issues that may arise from the finished product.
